It was only in 2017, during the pinnacle of its popularity, that sneakers adopted a new style, distinct from the previous ones. It was at that moment when the renowned fashion house Balenciaga seized upon the idea of "dad sneakers" and unveiled their acclaimed Balenciaga Triple S. In that same year, this model earned the accolade of "the best sneakers of the year" and continues to enjoy widespread fame till today.
