Moncler

Moncler is a French brand that was established in 1952. René Ramillon acquired multiple patents to enhance ski bindings and decided to create his own brand specializing in mountaineering equipment, thus giving birth to Moncler. The brand was named after the town where the founder resided - Monestier-de-Clermont, a commune near Grenoble. René appointed his friend, André Vincent, as the manager. The company invested approximately 8,000,000 French francs in its development. Initially, Moncler exclusively manufactured goods and equipment for mountaineering such as tents and sleeping bags. In 1954, they introduced their iconic down jackets, which received high praise from renowned French mountaineer Lionel Terray. Subsequently, Moncler collaborated with Lionel, releasing a range of products exclusively used by his team for expeditions.

In the 1960s, Moncler jackets made their way from mountaineers' wardrobes into everyday fashion. The brand caught the attention of celebrities, including Brigitte Bardot. In 1968, Moncler provided equipment for the French national ski team, which inspired the creation of the brand's logo - a Gallic rooster against a mountain backdrop. By the 1970s, Moncler jackets gained popularity worldwide.

In 1980, Chantal Thomass assumed leadership of the brand, infusing her feminine touch into the product designs. Decorative elements such as fur and satin began to appear. The introduction of bright jackets made from Japanese nylon followed. In 1999, Moncler presented its collection at Paris Fashion Week. A fashion line for both men and women was launched in 2002, which was later accompanied by a children's collection in 2009.

Currently, Moncler operates over 90 branded boutiques globally. Its products are protected by Certilogo technology, ensuring authenticity. Each tag contains a 12-digit code that can be verified on the website. Moncler offers a wide range of sportswear for women, including pants, jeans, jackets, down jackets, sweaters, golf shirts, t-shirts, hoodies, leggings, hats, fur vests, scarves, culottes, classic pants, caps, sweatshirts, skirts, boots, and more. Original French women's clothing from Moncler can be conveniently purchased in Europe at attractive prices with prompt delivery through the official website of the Symbol online store.
