Later, in 1930, together with the Parisian fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli, Amelia released a collection of women's leather jackets, which, unfortunately, remained unnoticed and did not win the hearts of fashionistas of that time. Another 20 years later, in February 1954, the incomparable Marilyn Monroe, while visiting US troops in Korea, puts a man's flight jacket on her fragile shoulders. Photographs of Monroe in a military jacket surrounded by American soldiers fly around the world, it is thanks to these pictures that women are increasingly wearing this type of outerwear. But before the world of high fashion begins to release long-legged models in jackets on the catwalks, it will be more than one year. One of the most striking examples will be the women's crocodile leather biker jacket, released by the eminent fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent in 1960. Then it will make a splash in the world of high fashion, and the jacket will rightfully become an integral part of the women's wardrobe.
